The Ingredient Database

The Ingredient Database is a library of spirits, beers, wines, and modifiers with names and sizes already filled in. Search it before you add a bottle and most of the form fills itself.

What it gives you

• Brand and product name, spelled right.
• The right ingredient type, so the right pour size and pour cost goal apply.
• Common Product Sizes for that product.
• Background details like category, origin, and ABV where we have them.

One thing it doesn't fill in: your cost. Prices vary by distributor and market, so you enter what you actually pay.

Where to find it

• Bar Inventory → Add. The search on that screen is the Ingredient Database.
• Search (the magnifying glass at the top right). Results from the database show up under your own bottles and cocktails.
• Manage Wells, when you pick your house pours.

If your bottle isn't there

Tap Create at the top right of the Add Ingredient screen and enter it yourself. Custom ingredients work everywhere database ones do.
