Push Prices

After review, one tap updates every matched ingredient's cost to what the invoice says.

Updated May 6, 2026

Push is the commit step. Until you push, the invoice is read-only and your inventory hasn't changed. Pushing applies the new costs and recalculates every cocktail that uses any updated ingredient.

What push does

  • Updates ingredient cost to the invoice unit cost.
  • Records a price-change history entry on each ingredient.
  • Recalculates pour cost, cost per ounce, and suggested price for every recipe that uses an updated ingredient.
  • Saves the invoice with its match status, so you can re-open and audit later.

What push doesn't do

  • Doesn't change menu prices automatically. That's still your call.
  • Doesn't add quantities to a count. PourCost doesn't track unit counts yet (variance and par levels are on the roadmap).

Heads up

Push is reversible per ingredient (you can manually edit the cost back), but tedious to undo at scale. Review carefully before you tap.
