Account & Sync

Sign in with Apple, Google, or email, or start as a guest. Plus how to bring over recipes from the old PourCost.

Sign in once and your bar follows you. Your phone and tablet read the same Bar Inventory, cocktails, and settings as long as they use the same account.

Ways to sign in

  • Apple, Google, or email. Any of them works. You can link Apple and Google to the same account later in Settings → Account.
  • Continue Without An Account. Start as a guest. Your bar lives on this phone only. When you're ready to keep it, tap Save Your Bar in Settings and create an account. Everything you've built comes with you.

Guests: save before you switch phones

A guest bar isn't backed up to an account. Deleting the app, or signing out of guest mode, deletes it. Create an account first if you want to keep it.

Coming from the old PourCost

If you saved recipes in the old app with Google, sign in here with the same Google account. Your saved ingredients and cocktails come over on their own.

Signed up here with Apple or email instead? Open Settings → Import From Old PourCost and pick the Google account you used in the old app. Your sign-in here stays the same.

Note

Logins made with Facebook in the old app can't be carried over. Sorry about that. If you bought Remove Ads in the old app, you have PourCost Unlimited. See Free & Unlimited.

What syncs

  • Your Bar Inventory: products, sizes, and costs.
  • Cocktails and recipes.
  • Your pour cost goals, default pour sizes, and default Menu Prices.

Switching devices

Sign in with the same account on the new phone or tablet and your bar loads. Change a recipe on your phone, and your tablet picks it up the next time you open the app there.
