Retail Prices
Set bar-wide retail per pour size so spirits get a sensible default menu price out of the box.
Updated May 6, 2026
Retail prices are bar-wide defaults: when you add a new bottle, PourCost uses these to seed a menu price for a 1.5oz pour, a glass of wine, a pint of beer, and so on. You can override per ingredient.
How to set them
- Open Settings → Retail Prices.
- Set the default per category and pour size. For example, "$12 for a 1.5oz call pour."
- Save.
How they interact with tiers
Retail prices are your starting point. The tier ladder is your target check. PourCost shows whether the retail you set hits the tier target for each bottle, and surfaces a suggested price if it doesn't.
Note
Cocktail prices aren't bar-wide; each cocktail has its own. Retail settings only seed defaults for ingredient pours.
