Conversions

PourCost works in your local currency and your preferred units. Settings is where you switch them.

Default is US dollars and ounces. If you're working in another currency or you prefer milliliters, the conversions screen flips everything globally.

What changes

  • All money displays use the new currency symbol.
  • All volume displays show your preferred unit (oz or ml). Pour sizes round to common increments.
  • Catalog starter costs convert from USD using a current exchange rate. Your saved costs stay as you typed them.

How to change

  1. Open Settings → Conversions.
  2. Pick currency and pour unit.
  3. Save. The whole app re-renders with the new units.

Note

The display unit is independent of how PourCost stores data internally. Switching between oz and ml doesn't change any underlying values, just how they're shown.
